bloss.m Scholars
Our organisation runs a 10-month leadership programme for Black girls in the UK through a curriculum that is designed to empower and develop their leadership youth social action and technical skills. The programme is delivered through a variety of methods, including workshops, mentorship, coaching, and experiential learning opportunities.
About the programme
Our leadership curriculum covers a range of topics, including communication skills, goal setting, time management, team building, decision-making, emotional intelligence, leadership styles, entrepreneurship, and innovation. We also focus on addressing the unique challenges faced by Black girls in the UK, such as racism, discrimination, health inequalities, and socioeconomic disadvantage.
To ensure the success of our programme, we work closely with local communities and schools to identify and recruit Black girls who would benefit from our leadership curriculum. We collaborate with schools and community organizations to provide a safe and supportive environment for our participants, and to ensure that our program aligns with their academic and personal goals.

Our Leadership Programme
Youth Social Action
Encouraging youth social action involves empowering students to play an active role in their communities, highlighting their ability to recognise and tackle significant challenges. Specifically, a group will be provided with the platform to execute their innovative ideas into their community.
Tech4Social
Offering a foundational comprehension of technology's role in practical settings, emphasizing its growing integration across diverse professional fields. This encompasses key subjects like artificial intelligence (AI) and coding.
Leadership
Encourage the importance of understanding and embracing one's identity, particularly at the intersections of race, gender, and personal values.
2024 Graduation
We hosted our very first bloss.m Scholars graduation, taking students from St. Paul's Academy and Norbury High School for Girls to Central London to celebrate each other's achievements.
