Mission
We believe that every Black girl has the right to access quality education and career development and to live in a society free from discrimination and bias.
Leadership Programme
bloss.m, offers a specialised 10-month leadership programme designed exclusively for Black girls in the UK. The programme is centred around an immersive curriculum that aims to empower and refine their leadership skills while encouraging active engagement in youth social action. The approach involves a diverse array of methods, including workshops, mentorship, coaching, and experiential learning opportunities.
With a deep understanding of the unique challenges faced by Black girls in the UK, including racism, discrimination, and socio-economic disadvantages, the curriculum is carefully designed to empower and uplift these young women.
Working closely with local communities
To ensure the success of our program, we work closely with local communities and schools to identify and recruit Black girls who would benefit from our leadership curriculum. We collaborate with schools and community organizations to provide a safe and supportive environment for our participants, and to ensure that our program aligns with their academic and personal goals.
Our program includes mentorship and coaching from experienced female leaders, who provide guidance and support to our participants throughout the program. We also offer experiential learning opportunities, such as internships, job shadowing, and community service projects, to provide our participants with hands-on leadership experience and networking opportunities.
After the program
At the end of the program, we celebrate the achievements of our participants with a graduation ceremony, and support them in developing an action plan for continued leadership development. We also encourage our graduates to serve as mentors and role models for the next generation of Black girls in the UK, and to use their leadership skills to create positive change in their communities and beyond.

History
bloss.m was established in 2018 by Lola Olaore, with the aim of providing education and empowerment programs to girls and women. To date, we have positively influenced the lives of 4,000 girls and women worldwide by supporting them during crucial stages of their lives.
